Wedding Planning Checklist
Planning a wedding is both exciting and daunting, so we’ve devised this wedding planning checklist to help you keep track of tasks in a relevant timescale and to highlight the benefits of having an AC wedding planner. The AC can manage anything, from being your caterer to planning the whole wedding. Tasks we can help with are in bold italics – you may notice that most of the fun things are still up to you!
12 months (or more) before
First of all, set a budget – make a list and prioritise everything that’s important to you
Decide on the style of ceremony – If you want a church wedding there are quite a few things to consider. This site is a great source of information about Church weddings or try this for details of marriages and civil partnerships.
Decide on a rough date and think about a venue. We can do a venue search for you and reserve the venue
Start getting wedding dress ideas – it can take 6 months to get from the designer/shop
Generally, we find that the bride tends to handle most of the project managing, but it’s a great idea to agree on a couple of tasks for the groom to oversee. Music and wine are usually good bets.
