Why have a Wedding Tasting?
A tasting is one of the most delicious and fun parts of planning a wedding. It’s the time when one gets to see, taste, discuss and decide on a whole range of aspects of the wedding with the wedding planner and other experienced members of the team, such as the Head Chef and Sommelier.
Canapés– Our chefs will design and prepare a selection of canapés. These are our ‘tiny bites of heaven’ that make the mouth burst with flavour.
Menus – This is your chance to taste and finalise the menu items previously discussed with your wedding planner. You will usually have a selection of starters, main courses and puddings to select from.
Look – This is all about visual and sensory impact. The tasting room table is set with crisp linens, cutlery, gleaming glassware fragrant flowers and other decorative items, enabling you to leave with total confidence that the look of your wedding is complete. We can also show alternative options available should you require them.
Wines – Our sommeliers select and present a range of tasting wines, Champagnes and cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic to keep thirsty guests happy.
Dietary requirements – We will discuss and agree on menu substitutions as required, ensuring that every guest with dietary preferences and needs is served something equally as delicious as the other guests.
Children – If children are to attend your wedding, we agree on suitable menus that suit younger taste buds, plus children’s entertainment and special treats, like their absolute favourite, the frozen yoghurt maker.
