Main Space
Under the Hull
This is a modern space built after the refurbishment of Cutty Sark’s fire in 2007. The ship, all 963 tonnes, is suspended 3 metres above the floor. Cutty Sark is the only original ship in the world where guests can dine and entertain underneath her. Her geodesic glass canopy floods the space with natural daylight, whilst built in lighting makes her hull glimmer in the evening. This is her largest space and is perfect for dining, drinks reception and dancing late into the evening.
The ‘Tween Deck
The ‘Tween deck features exhibitions about the Ship’s travels not only to China but to every other major port of the time, from Sydney to Shanghai to Cape Town. Welcome drinks can be enjoyed as guests map her journeys, surrounded by original teak planks and iron frames that sailed the China Seas and Southern Ocean a century ago. This space holds a wedding license and can also accommodate intimate dinners.
The Weather Deck
Enjoy sunset reception drinks on the Weather Deck with breath-taking views across London and the River Thames. Her towering masts and rigging rise up into the sky, creating a dramatic silhouette against the London skyline. The cabins as well as the eleven miles of rigging transport your guests back in time to the romance of the Grand Age of Sail as well as the realities of life on board. For a completely exclusive experience, intimate dinners for ten can also be enjoyed in the mahogany-panelled Master’s Saloon.
