Orangery

The large, open plan design of this venue makes it ideal for a whole range of events, from drinks and cocktail receptions to award ceremonies and festive corporate events.

During the summer months, guests can enjoy the large terrace with its spectacular views of the landscape, with lights illuminating the surrounding trees at night.

Both the Princess of Wales Conservatory and Nash Conservatory can be used as pre-dinner drinks venues for guests who wish to book the Orangery for an evening event but also require a space at Kew Gardens before 7pm.

Princess of Wales Conservatory

The Princess of Wales Conservatory is the most complex glasshouse at Kew.

Stunningly illuminated after dark it offers a unique event experience, allowing guests to enjoy a drinks and canapé reception whilst exploring the glasshouse and wandering through different climates.

The Princess of Wales Conservatory is an easy distance from all our venues and works perfectly for a post conference drinks reception in conjunction with Cambridge Cottage or the Sir Joseph Banks Building. Alternatively, you could consider using the glasshouse as a pre-dinner drinks reception space when combined with the Orangery or Temperate House.

Temperate House

A glistening cathedral, the freshly restored venue is home to 10,000 species of plants from the world’s temperate zones.

Offering you and your guests a rare opportunity to dine and unwind in a space that is truly alive, the Temperate House is the world’s largest glass house.

Cambridge Cottage

The former royal residence of the Duke of Cambridge, Cambridge Cottage is nestled in a quiet, private corner of the Gardens.

The Drawing Room and Gallery are spacious and light, available to be used independently or combined depending on your requirements. Both rooms open onto Duke’s Garden which is a tranquil and scenic space ideal for outdoor coffee breaks or drinks receptions.

The lobby, entrance hall and ante-room provide additional break-out space if required.

Nash Conservatory

A bright and sophisticated glasshouse on the borders of the Gardens.

Originally built in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, the Nash Conservatory was moved brick-by-brick to Kew in 1836.

This 19th century glasshouse can accommodate a wide range of events, from presentations to product launches, corporate away days to drinks receptions, and much more. Floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides create a wealth of natural daylight with relaxing views onto the Gardens.
