Barry Rooms

The National Gallery is located in the heart of London – the centrepiece of Trafalgar Square and the backdrop to historic moments and contemporary celebrations.

Inside the building, it’s not only the paintings that demand attention, the grand architecture changes from Victorian splendour to modern minimalism in a few steps, meaning there is always a suitable and impressive space for your event.

The National Gallery’s most opulent event space. The Barry Rooms makes an immediate impression with a breath-taking domed ceiling, beautifully detailed marble pillars and their unrivalled British portrait collection.

The configuration of the space makes it perfect for receptions or dinners with all guests able to get up close to the famous works of art adorning the walls. The Barry Rooms can be paired with The Portico Terrace, Mosaic Terrace or Central Hall to create the most memorable of event spaces.
